Patient & Visitor Guide
Welcome to Vighnaharta Hospital & Trauma Centre. To ensure a comfortable stay and smooth medical treatment for our patients, we have outlined a comprehensive guide regarding hospital rules, admission procedures, and visiting protocols.
1. Admission Procedure
During admission, our staff will assist you with room/ward selection, consent form documentation, and financial estimations. Please ensure you bring the necessary documents for a quick process.
Required Documents at TPA/Admission Desk:
- Doctor's Admission Advice Note
- Aadhaar Card or Government Photo ID of the Patient
- Valid Health Insurance / TPA Card (For Cashless Claims)
- Previous Medical Records, Lab Reports, and Current Medications
2. Visitor Policy & Hours
We believe family support is crucial for healing, but rest is equally important. To maintain a quiet and infection-free environment, we request all visitors to adhere to the hospital timings.
- Morning Visiting Hours: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Evening Visiting Hours: 05:00 PM to 07:00 PM
- Only one pass holder attendant is allowed to stay with the patient in the ward/room.
- Children below 12 years are not encouraged to visit patient areas to prevent infection.
3. Discharge Process
Discharges are planned by the consultant doctor. The final billing, discharge summary preparation, and pharmacy clearance usually take 2 to 3 hours. Our nursing staff will guide you regarding take-home medication dosages and follow-up visit dates before you leave.
